Sunny Sunny Ski Days

Last Friday we were not at youth. The reason: YQ!!! The most fun weekend eva!!! It started off at 4 in the morning on Thursday, actually it started before that, as we never went to bed. The ferry ride was uneventful, then the bus ride, which was crazy, as in Crazy Dave, as in all over the road, as in he was sleeping at the wheel through windy mountain passes and I thought we were going to die. The roller coaster ride was well worth in when we landed at the mothership on Friday. All together it was just a crazy weekend where anything and everything happened. Crazy Dave got us back safe and sound (to an extent) to the ferry, which we boarded back to Nanaimo. From there a bunch of us headed up to P-Mac. We gots to chill with Michelle's CRAZY! friends for 3 days. The first day we pretty much just crashed in bed because it was past midnight and we were all running on close to no sleep. In the morning we had a sweet breakfast then went off shooting with Doug. After blowing up pop cans and pretending to be in Brooklyn we went back and made pizzas for supsup. We chilled at Chelle's church for a bit with some more of her friends then went to bed. The last day we hit up San Jo beach with Doug, Tim, Jaylene, and Kyla. A blast! After a 2 hour off-roading extravaganza, we kicked it back to Qwanoes.

There was no youth this Friday because of the Ski trip on Saturday. So Friday we got to chill at the Manafest concert!!! Me and Steve were security guards (because of our bulging muscles and intimidating personalities) so we got front row to the sweetest white rapper anywhere. Chill times, and a bunch of the youth showed up from New Life.

Ski day was awesome, me and the Steves had a few TP runs before we got to be instructors. Now this is what youth is all about, getting to lead someone in an activity they are completely new at. We got to go alongside them as they learned the fine art of snowboarding. I got to chill with Zach the whole time which was so awesome! He's totally a pro already. At least this time we got to hang out and talk to the guys instead of having to chase them around being a bad guy. Totally got to build relationships which was great. Only two injuries and I threw down a 360 or two!

Class tomorrow. Bummed... India 8 days! Psyched but not quite ready. Peace.
